Connect and sustain your daily practice
With meditation instruction, education, & community
Come as you are
A space to hold what’s present for you. Take care of your mind, heart, and body in community. All practice levels welcomed.
Guided meditation
A weekly refresher on different types of meditation empowers you to apply technique in your regular solitary practice.
Community support
Sitting together, even online, supports your home practice. Group connection and optional check-ins help, too.
How does this work?
Every Monday 9:00-9:45 am EST
Welcome and check-ins: I welcome everyone into the Zoom room and we move through optional introductions and check-ins.
Mini dharma talk and instruction: I share a short talk on the type of meditation we’ll be practicing.
Guided meditation practice: I offer a 25-mins guided meditation. We are currently moving through an 8-month curriculum on Buddhist meditation practices which you can find below.
Q&A and Close: There will be time for questions and closing. Folks are welcome to come and go as they need!

Who leads the weekly gatherings?
Hey, I’m Adriana 👋
I’m a Buddhist meditation teacher, mentor, facilitator, writer, and parent. I help meditators integrate their social justice values and spiritual practice.
I believe that reimagining a more life-giving world requires social-political-economic change and deep spiritual transformation. My mission is to help you live into your values of service and solidarity supported by the wisdom of Buddhist practice, so that you can continue to resist in the struggle for collective change.
I offer weekly guided meditation because I recognize that meditation is often the entry point to Buddhist teachings and practice in the West.
Weekly gatherings are an opportunity to receive detailed meditation instruction to refine your home practice, and connect with others in the messy, honest aspects of being human.
Have some questions?
-
When you sign up for a paid membership through Adriana’s Substack, your confirmation email will include the Zoom link for the weekly gatherings.
-
Please come and go as you’re able!
-
Please feel free to have your camera on or off during the guided meditation practice. If possible, I ask folks to turn their cameras on during introductions so there is a shared sense of who is in the room.
-
We rotate through different forms of shamatha–vipashyana, metta, and tonglen practices. Every gathering has instruction so you are able to participate regardless of your familiarity with the practice. My instruction style is influenced by my training in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition.

These weekly meditation gatherings are geared towards beginner and/or intermediate practitioners.
